The rating is very appropriate because the story has so many important themes. It gives the reader "food for thought." It is very well written, clear, concise and you can feel the honesty with which it is written. The book speaks to the heart. Character traits like Honor, Courage and Bravery are just a few important points the reader will get from this book. Well written. I highly recommend reading this book and sharing what was learned with family and friends. it's so honest.
The Story of Wendell Scott, was very interesting. I was completely unaware of his exstience. I enjoyed sharing his story with a group of elementary students during Black History Month.
Not what I expected. This is a childs book with drawings.
