Okay. That was a spechottacular Cowboy romance!The Bennett Brothers became fast favorites wrapping their humorous, devoted, strong selves around my heart!What a sensual minefield! It's a book that will transport you to mama Bennett's (Louise) ((LOVE HER!)) kitchen, or the well-developed portrait of the surrounding ranch and its magic.Lauren Landish did a stellar job creating enduring characters within a free-flowing heat fueled, humor-laden romance! One that kept me up well past my bewitching hour to finish!I look forward to seeing what happens next with the Bennett Family.I highly recommend checking out James & Sophie's story!
Buck Wild is the ultimate cowboy Romance! I absolutely fell in Love with Sophie and James! I am a huge fan of anything Lauren Landish writes and books like Buck Wild are why. It was the kind of book you can get lost in. You have a Hot Bad Boy bull rider/cowboy in James. He is full of fire and sex appeal . Then you have the sassy, funny witty Vet student Sophie, and you just can’t help but fall for this couple. They have a chance meeting one summer on James Family’s farm, when Sophie assisted the local Vet help with the delivery of a horse. It had me laughing out loud, smiling and shedding a tear or two. It was wonderful. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review after reading this arc.
The book was incredibly written. I loved the first meeting between James and Sophie. Both characters showing a backbone and knowing just exactly who and what they are from the get go. The road to an hea had a few turns and a lot of heat. Having met Sophie in a previous book, she had to find love with someone just as strong willed and "wild" as she is. This story definitely delivered that and more. I enjoyed this book and the ending actually had me in tears. Lauren Landish has outdone herself with the beginning of another series. I can only hope when she's finished with the Bennett boys she moves next door and finds love for the Tannen boys and girl.
I've read the majority of the books written by Ms Lauren Landish and have loved everyone of them, this book included. All her books have a good flow to the story and always have a good romance theme. James, a bull rider, meets Sophie, a veterinarian trainee and fireworks explode. Their meeting results in them finding the love of their life in each other with loads of family support. The story was balanced well, with all the external characters, and ends in a beautiful HEA. I'm looking forward to more books by Lauren, hopefully about the brothers and maybe Shayanne.
As the beginning of a new series, Buck Wild starts off with a bang! Steamy and intense, James and Sophie's story kept me riveted to the page. One of the reasons Lauren Landish is a favorite author of mine is because she never disappoints! Can't wait for Riding Hard to be released in March 2019!
Lauren is the master at hot romance with a lot of sexy steamy scenes. There is nothing that this book is missing except for maybe me being right there with oneof those hot Bennett boys.... great read.... where can I find me one of those Bennett's?
This is an endearing story with heartfelt experiences that feel true to life and still super sexy. It gives the reader a sense of challenge achieved and appreciation for successes when met, good read!
